And this is why I read the last chapter.
Once upon a time I loved tear jerkers, the sobbier the better then my hubby was diagnosed w/cancer and I couldn't read them anymore, I still love thrillers and chillers but they MUST have a happy ending. So I picked up a title I thought was a no-brainer I can't remember the name right now but she killed off the heroine. Maybe someday I can go back but right now it's gotta have a happy ending. The Reading Frenzyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17908245479700999445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5472726634139621642.post-45233131335890275442014-07-01T11:04:20.404-06:002014-07-01T11:04:20.404-06:00The ones I remember when I think of sad books is W...The ones I remember when I think of sad books is Where the Red Fern Grows (#1 on the sad scale for me) and Sounder. I don't remember what Sounder is about (other than a dog) but it had a strong impact on me and I read probably 40 times as a kid, it was one that I just carted everywhere and it was so worn the pages were literally falling out.
I know that I have read many sad ones as an adult but they don't seem to stick with me QUITE as much.Candacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01701325312535440179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5472726634139621642.post-73980059559971328772014-07-01T10:07:48.215-06:002014-07-01T10:07:48.215-06:00So true!So true!Kindlemomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09084577342034704304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5472726634139621642.post-59379039911064197262014-07-01T10:07:35.894-06:002014-07-01T10:07:35.894-06:00Oh you should Jenny, it is fabulous.
