 Goodreads Description:
Kate’s life is far from normal. She can see auras, her boyfriend is immortal, and her powers make her a target. But now that the Demon Lord is hunting her, things are about to go from dangerous to truly deadly. Packed with action, mind-blowing plot twists, and characters you can’t get enough of, this is a fast-paced, heart-pounding read from cover to cover.

My Review:

I really enjoyed the first book in the series Seers, it was fun and unique and just a great read, so it was no surprise that I was pretty excited to read the second book as well. I was really hoping that it would stand up to the first one and you know what, it absolutely did. In fact I would go so far as to say that this one was even better than the first.

Once again we get more Kate and Patrick (who are finally together, YAY!), more Lee, More Toni, grandpa, the feisty twins and even some new great characters as well.

Kate is finally starting to come into her own and learn a little bit more about what it truly means to be a seer and even gets a few new surprises along the way.

We get more of Patrick's past (yay, I loved learning more about his time in Ireland even if I wish we had gotten a little bit more!) and of course we get more sweet romance between him and Kate. Which, I have to admit I absolutely loved. I loved seeing them together and the tender moments they shared.

And once again, there were twists and turns in this one that blew me away. And that ending? Far Darrig? Gah! I can't wait for book three, it promises to be fantastic!

  6. I'm trying to build a comprehensive YA category book list. Is this book completely immersed in Norse Mythology? Is there a sprinkling of other supernatural creatures? Or does other supernatural ideas also take a prevalent role?

This book does sound interesting on a new note. I think I shall add it to my already long list to be read.

  7. I don't remember anything about Norsemythology being in the book. More about guardians, demons and auras, that sort of thing. :)

  8. I've been wanting to read Seers and Demons after reading so many amazing reviews, but I was just never able to snag a copy of Seers! I received a Netgalley copy of Demons, but I can't read it until I read Seers, so I'm pretty much stuck :/
