It's been awhile, okay, a long while since I've done a post like this and to be honest, with crazy life things happening this past year, I feel a little out of the loop with new releases. I thought it might be fun to play catch up and post about all those wonderful books that I do know are coming out and share them with you all. Maybe you will find something new as well to be excited about.
Without further ado, here are mt top fall reads I can't wait to read:
Even though I'm two books behind on this series, I've loved it from the beginning and can't wait to see how it all ends. It's been one exciting, kick butt ride.
I'm always a sucker for a good witch story and combine that with the historical aspect I love and you have me frothing at the mouth.
I can't even begin to tell you how much I adore this series. It's just everything I love in a historical mystery. Plus I love the twist on the Sherlock Homes angle. And, come on , look at that cover, it is gorgeous, they all are.
Estep is one of my favorite authors in both YA and in UF and I'm so excited that she has a new series coming out and a UF one at that. I can't wait to read it!
Okay so technically, I'm not waiting for this one because I already got an ARC of it and devoured it but, I had to post about it anyways because it was so freaking good. Barnes always delivers in her books but I think this series is going to be a favorite. Both my older girls read this and read it in one sitting, they both loved it so much and they rarely agree on books anymore so, win win for me.
Another series I loved after the very first book and the second was even better. Can't wait to see what the author has in store for the next installment. If you haven't tried this series yet, I can't recommend it enough.
I'm a sucker for retellings with a twist even though they rarely work out for me but I love White's work and if anyone can pull this one off, I think she can. Can't wait to see if I'm right or not! Has anyone read it yet?
If you've read this writing duo before then you understand why I can't pass this one up. If you haven't read them, do it. So so good!
This author's debut series was amazing so I can't wait to see what this one will be like. Her stories are rich in detail and lore and I bet this will be just the same.
So what are you anticipating this fall? Which books did I miss that you think I should know about?
Ooh so many amazing-sounding books. I've read Hollow of Fear and Kill the Queen and both were so good. I love the sound of The Witch of Willow Hall. I love a good historical fiction novel.
ReplyDeleteI just finished Kill the Queen and really loved it too! I'm going to start Hollow of Fear, I can't wait any longer LOL!
DeleteJosh and Hazel! Loved that one. Those two write near perfect good for me.
ReplyDeleteYes it really was just so darn good. Definitely a favorite.
DeleteSo with you on Kingdom of Ash! I've been with that series from the beginning and I cannot wait to see how it all comes together!
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling it will be completely epic. ;_
DeleteHells yes Ali...awesome list. I too am two books behind but will grab Kingdom of Ash. The Witch of Willow Hollow was pretty dang good and I am currently reading Kill the Queen. It is soooo addictive! I have Harknesses book preorder and cannot wait!
ReplyDeleteYes!! I just finished Kill the Queen and The Witch of Willow Hollow and loved them both as well. Kill the Queen is going to be one heck of a series I think.

Those are two of my favorites on this list! Definitely start the Lady Sherlock books, I just finished the third today and it was amazing!
DeleteAhh these look so cool- Jennifer lynn Barnes!!!
ReplyDeleteI adore her stuff, it is always so darn good but her newest is a favorite by far if not my most favorite from her.
DeleteI was offered a copy of Time's Convert, but I didn't read Harkness' debut series so I've been on the fence about accepting. I think I should go for it after hearing your praise! Thanks for the nudge! :)
ReplyDeleteHer first series was amazing and I know this is a spin off of sorts so I really hope you love it!
DeleteI loved Josh and Hazel so much and reviewed it today. The big one I am/was waiting for was The Darkest Star by Jennifer Armentrout. I was so excited to get the arc and I am reading it now. I'll have to look at the Estep book and maybe the Little White Lies one as well. Thanks for posting these.
ReplyDeleteOh the Darkest Star looks good as well. I should add that one to my list too.
DeleteWhere are you reviewing now by the way?
DeleteI should have also said I was looking forward to Dare You to Lie by Amber Lynn Natusch. She's a favorite author of mine and this is her first in hardback. It's also her first YA. Going to read it soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that recommendation as well Lorna! I'll look into it!
DeleteI'm eyeing Christina Lauren's book! I haven't read a book by her yet, and the title for this one just sounds so cute that it just might be my first! ;)
