Add to the mix a curious mother, a houseful of raucous sisters, and her father’s charming assistant and it may prove to be too much. Will the tinker’s new invention leave the family rich or destitute? And will this young woman see her father’s assistant in a new light?

My Mini Review:
It has been a long while since I have read anything steampunk so I was long overdue when Ms. Van asked me to read and review her short story The Unseen Wonder.

I was excited to read it and really looking forward to it. The cover in it is perfect, exactly what I would imagine Georgina to look like.

This was a really cute story and Georgina’s family and her crazy father that likes to invent things.

Although Georgina's family was noisy and large they all got a long and you could feel the love they had for one another.

This was super short and only took me a few minutes to read but it was well written and would make me want to pick up something else that Ms. Van has written and give it a try too.

I am glad this is just the first part of a planned series because I can really see myself getting into the characters and world that Ms. Van has created.

I give this one a very solid 3.5 Stars!

  1. This sounds fun and quick. I love steampunk, but sadly have been disappointed by the YA genre when it comes to it. Will check this one out.
