I'm excited to announce the release of The Forsaken Heart by Brenda Gayle. This is the third book in The Heart's Desire series. Each book is stand-alone, although there is a story arc that runs through them and culminates in this book.
Title: THE FORSAKEN HEART
Genre, Age: Adult, Contemporary, Romance
Description/Blurb: When Anna Graham marries Callum Hart she'll get both the man she loves and her uncles' agreement to take over the family ranch. Will the return of Jackson, her long-lost first love–and Cal's brother–throw it all in jeopardy?
Cal has been in love with Anna for as long as he can remember. It was he who picked up the pieces of her broken heart when Jackson disappeared years ago. His brother’s sudden reappearance, just when it seems Anna is ready to love again, is mysterious–as is his father’s casual acceptance of the prodigal son’s return.
But is something more sinister going on? Someone seems determined to prove Anna incompetent to her uncles and insincere to Cal. With an arsonist on the loose and cattle dying, old secrets are exposed, and Anna and Cal face a challenge that will test their love far more than Jackson's unexpected homecoming.

DeleteI think you've got a fab name for your blog, Anna! Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteThanks so much for posting!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting The Forsaken Heart on its worldwide release day! The heroine, Anna, first appeared in The Forsaken Heart as the smart-mouth cousin to the hero. I loved her spunk, but always had the feeling there was some disappointment in her past. I was so glad to be able to explore that in this book.
ReplyDeleteGlad you were able to write about something you love!

ReplyDeleteSounds great! The cover is unique too.
ReplyDeleteIt is, I like the soft colors.
DeleteThe cover was done by Debbie Taylor at The Wild Rose Press. She's done all the covers for this series. I love her work.
DeleteOMG, that girl's hair. O.o It think it's beautiful but omg, it must be so hard to groom (is that the word?)
ReplyDeleteI am sure it is very hard to keep under control!
DeleteMy daughter has that hair and the most difficult part (for her) is the length of time it takes to dry. The most difficult part for us is the hot water bills for the long showers she says she needs to take to wash it.
