WoW Pick of the Week!

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. It is a chance to share those new releases were are super anxious to get our hands on and read.

I loved Colleen's Tiger Saga so I am super excited that she has a new series out and while I really don't love the cover on this (it kind of gives me the creeps!), the synopsis sounds amazing!

Release Date: August 25, 2015 (Delacorte)

Book Description:
When seventeen-year-old Lilliana Young enters the Metropolitan Museum of Art one morning during spring break, the last thing she expects to find is a live Egyptian prince with godlike powers, who has been reawakened after a thousand years of mummification.

And she really can't imagine being chosen to aid him in an epic quest that will lead them across the globe to find his brothers and complete a grand ceremony that will save mankind.

But fate has taken hold of Lily, and she, along with her sun prince, Amon, must travel to the Valley of the Kings, raise his brothers, and stop an evil, shape-shifting god named Seth from taking over the world.

From New York Times bestselling author Colleen Houck comes an epic adventure about two star-crossed teens who must battle mythical forces and ancient curses on a journey with more twists and turns than the Nile itself.

  13. I am weary....only because I did NOT like the love triangle in the other series I read of hers. It ruined the whole series for me. I liked the writing, but the love triangle killed the love for the book. That cover is super fantastic though :)

    1. Ah yes, the love triangle. It was a tough one wasn't it? I did love her writing though. I'm hoping this will be sans love triangle.
