The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Summer if officially here and we are finally getting into the groove of it and not waking up so early, which is nice since we have all been staying up later than normal.

Next week we will have company in town which we are all excited for so you may see a little less of me around the blogsphere, but then again, maybe not. I do find it hard to resist being on here.

Due to a blog tour I didn't participate in the Sunday Post last week so I will be posting the books I received for the past two weeks and surprisingly the list is short this time. I have been trying to be a good girl and get caught up on all the books I need to read. Sadly, I discovered the tv series Sherlock and Pretty Little Liars and watching both series has put me way behind on my reading time but, I can't help it, both tv series are addicting!

Have you watched either of them? If so what do you think about them? I have watched all the seasons of Sherlock  (sad there are only 3 episodes per season) and am eagerly awaiting season 4 but am still way behind on Pretty Little Liars (only on season 2 out of 5) but I still have the whole summer to get caught up right? I need to stop watching tv though but with my husband being gone out of town last week, it helped to have something new to watch at night when the house was quite. I don't do well alone at night without him. It is hard to sleep and of course I hear every little thing that goes bump in the night.

This week on the blog I had the following posts:

Blog Tour Book Review and Giveaway: To Have and To Harm by Debra Doxer

Review: Not a Drop to Drink by Mindy McGinnis

Tell Me Something Tuesday

Waiting on Wednesday

Review: Nearly Gone by Elle Cosimano

Review: Boomerang by Noelle August

  3. We had guests in town last weekend...I'm STILL recovering. It threw me off! I'm a full-time freelance writer, though, so I ended up getting behind on all my work and now I'm playing catch-up! Have a great time.

  4. Dude, I can totally understand having that "reading slump" due to books :P I kinda introduced Dre @ Sporadic Reads to Asian dramas, and she's been having a huge reading slump ever since because she keeps watching them. I haven't read them but I'm supposed to watch Reign, OUAT, and Penny Dreadful soon...

In any case, I hope you enjoy your new books. A lot of them are so damn pretty :D

  9. MORTAL HEART! You suck. ;)

I'm behind on Sherlock. I think I'm just going to start from the beginning again and watch them all the way through. I gave up on PLL during the beginning of the 2nd season. I got bored.

    1. I love you too Christy!

I am wondering if I will with PLL as well, I can't see how it has been dragged on already for so many series but Sherlock I will never tire of. I love it.

  11. Nice haul this week, you've got a great selection of books. I LOVE Sherlock! It needs to be way longer than 3 episodes a season :( I think we'll probably be left waiting a long time for a season 4 and that makes me really sad. I need it! :)
