The Sunday Post

This is a weekly meme hosted by Kim at the Caffeinated Book Reviewer and it is a chance to showcase those great reads we found and received and of course what happened on our blog in the past week and what to expect in the week to come.

Happy Mother's Day to all those wonderful Mothers out there!!

I don't know about you guys but this week seemed to take forever to end. If could very well be because I was sick and even though I didn't feel well, I still had a gazillion things I had to do (doesn't that just figure?) and it seemed like the days were never going to end and yet there wasn't enough time to do everything I was hoping I could.

It was super cold, windy and rainy here all week. Next week is suppose to be all sunshine and warm weather and I am so looking forward to sitting outside in the sun and getting a book read. I have quite a few June and July ARCs I need to get done. When will I ever learn to resist that download button?

I love Mother's Day. It is that time of year when we remember to really thank our mothers for all the great stuff they do for us each day and now that I am a mother, I know just how much work and time it takes but I also know, it is worth every single second of it. I love being a mom and wouldn't trade it for all the books in the world. ;)

So, to all you moms our there, I hope you are getting spoiled rotten, you deserve it!!

This is what happened this past week on the blog:

This Coming Week on the Blog:

Cover Reveal and Giveaway: Forever Kind of Love by Clara Stone

Review: Allegiance by Susannah Sandlin

Guest Post: Pressed Pennies by Steven Manchester

Review: Biggest Flirts by Jennifer Echols

Review: The Twelfth Night by Deanna Raybourn

Review: the Murder Complex by Lindsay Cummings

Review: wall Banger by Alice Clayton

Once again I wasn't so great this week with resisting that download button but it wasn't too bad.
Here is what I received for review and as always a big thank you to the authors and publishers!!

  8. Happy (late) Mothers Day! I'm not sure a fan of Mothers Day, I think. It just is a day I have a reason to be upset about no one helping me with anything. I got zero appreciation and it was just like any other day. Apparently I'm still upset about that...
It looks like you got some awesome books! Happy reading!
