So what books will grace my ARC list this  year?

Surprisingly I don't have as many as I thought. I have been trying to resist that download and request button and so far I'm doing an okay job of it this year but of course, some are easier to resist than others. ;)

This is what I have lined up to read this month:

I love Sarah's books so this one isn't going to be a challenge to get through at all, in fact I'm pretty excited about it!

After falling in love with Pushing the Limits months ago, there was no way I could say no to trying a new series by this author, which is exactly why this ended up in my ARC list and come on now, who can resist bikes?

This is the last book in the trilogy and I can't wait to see how it ends! I would be lying if I said I wasn't a but nervous for it too. Book endings are so touch and go anymore but I trust Silver to deliver.

I really enjoyed book one so I'm keeping my fingers crossed this will be every bit as good if not better and hopefully won't have a dreadful cliffy like the first.

I really liked the first book, way more than I know others did, but that's okay, just goes to show even when we have similar tastes, we still sometimes like different things. Either way, I'm so excited to see how this next installment will come about.

I tried to resist this one but alas, I couldn't. It just looks too cute! And hello a music theme! Gotta love that!

Cat Winters is a master at what she does so there was no way I was saying no to this one! I can't wait to read it. I almost forgot I had this waiting for me until I made up this post. How could I forget about it?

This one just appealed to me. I'm a sucker for time travel. I'm hoping it is every bit as good as the synopsis promises.

This is another trilogy that is ending. I really liked book one, book two was different but still good so it will be really interesting to see how it all finally comes together. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it isn't a disappointment.

I love the whole premises for this and if I'm being honest, the cover spoke to me. Dang cover whore tendencies. ;)

I'm also a sucker for a retelling with a twist and this just sounded fantastic. *sigh* I really am trying to resist these reads but once in awhile I can't help myself and again, look at that cover! Is it terrible that after all this time reading and reviewing books, I can still get sucked in by a pretty cover?

I have no defense for this other than my nerdy side that loves history pretty much demanded that I read this. What's a girl to do, I can't argue with logic like history now can I?

This one just sounded so funny and fun. We all need some good humor in our lives, at least, that's what I'm telling myself my reason for agreeing to read and review it is and I'm sticking to it.

This last one is part of a blog tour and while I'm also trying to limit the number of those I do, this just sounded too interesting to pass up. Keep your fingers crossed it will turn out great!

This last one wasn't one I requested, but rather was sent to me by the publisher. I still haven't decided what I want to do with it but I will at least start it and see how it goes if I have time to squeeze it in before the month is over.

So fourteen books all in all, maybe fifteen if I decide to read the last one. Not bad really considering most of these span out from June until October of this year so I have plenty of time to read them but why not get them all out of the way now so I can concentrate on my TBR pile for the rest of the year right?

And I have a confession to make. When I first started this list, I only had twelve books on it, I have no idea how I got it up to almost fifteen so..I'm pleading the fifth on that one.

Wish me luck with all of these! I read very little in April so I'm hoping this is the kick in the pants I need to get my butt in gear and get these read way before I need to.

  1. Ahh you're going to love The Summer of Chasing Mermaids! <3 It was such a fantastic book, seriously. Oh, I have an ARC of The Heartbreakers as well. I hope we both enjoy that one. ^_^ I actually hate the cover for Ash & Bramble, but the story sounds super amazing! <3

  2. This sounds like such an awesome challenge and you have so many good books to read! I recently read and really enjoyed Nowhere But Here. I've heard The Heartbreakers is a spin-off of The Walter Boys, which was adorable, so I'm excited for that one! Good luck with the challenge :)

  3. I need this! After my little reading slump I'm behind. I look forward to hearing about Siren's Fury. I liked the first one, but the summary of the second doesn't sound like I'd like it. Edge of Forever is on my list too. (Along with six other books)
