The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

It has been another crazy week and I can tell July is here. We are now in the super hot months of the summer and while I do love summer, I can always do without the 100 degree weather. But that is okay because we had a very mild June and I got to spend a lot of time outdoors with my girls (and yes, get some reading done).

I hope everyone in the US had a safe and happy holiday weekend.

My company is finally here and I couldn't' be more excited to see them. Sadly, this will also mean less time for me to be around the blogsphere but I will do my best at night to play catch up.

Last Week on the Blog:

Release Day Blitz: Mosiac by Leigh T. Moore

Review: Return of the Rebel by Jennifer Faye

Release Day Review Spotlight and Giveaway: Dark Paradise by Angel Sandro

Tell Me Something Tuesday

My WoW Pick of the Week

Cover Reveal: Storms of Lazarus by Karen Kincy

Review: Through To You by Lauren Barnholdt

Review: Magnolia by Kristi Cook

Whew! I had a busy week and it was slightly crazy. I am looking forward to a more mild week this week with posts.

I love getting new books, especially those I have been looking forward to reading and I just know I will love (of course now that I said that, I probably won't! LOL).
I tried to be better this week since last week I may have gone a little overboard and only picked up a few books but I am really loving the synopsis' so I can't wait to read them.

Once again, a big thank you to all the publishers for letting me read and review these.

And this one:

Umm okay. maybe I didn't do as well as I thought I did this week. Oh well, what is a girl to do?

  2. Okay, so I might sound like an idiot but wowwww! that was one busy week. And I'm looking forward to your Crushed review, seeing as how I still haven't made up my mind about the book. And I missed your review of On Every Street-stupid vacation! Must check it out because I have an unhealthy love for all its depravity.

  3. I'm with you when it comes to this weather. I like sun and everything but 100 is something I can live without. I'm so happy that your family is there and I really hope you'll enjoy :) Great haul, too.

  5. Oh you got The Cure for Dreaming! I'm friends with Cat Winters so I'm looking forward to reading it. :)
I don't like the hot temps either. I want it to be like in the 70's all summer, lol.

    1. Me too Candace, that would be the perfect summer for me. Low 70's to mid and with a slight breeze. I would be in heaven!

  7. Fun books. I'm knee-deep in contest judging right now, with more books to read than any human could handle, so I don't get to read for fun until August!

  8. You definitely did better than I did. Hope you have a good time with your company!

  9. The weather has been kind of weird around here actually. It's been kind of hot the last couple days, but before then, it was kind of chilly and rainy, so my dang pool is cold!! lol I need it to heat up so I can swim and read...besides that, I hate the heat.

  12. I'm really excited for Cure for Dreaming since I loooved Winters's debut and while Lailah looks SO GOOD I'm also worried because the synopsis seemed to hint at a love triangle and I'm not a fan of those... I'm looking forward to your thoughts on them, though--happy reading! :)

  13. Whoo! I'm looking forward to your Midnight Thief review~ I recently reviewed that one (and yes, I saw your comment, hehehehe) and want to know what you think, although from the gist of it, it was positive wasn't it? In any case, you really did have a crazy week last week! Hope this time you can breathe a few~
