It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
It has been another crazy week and I can tell July is here. We are now in the super hot months of the summer and while I do love summer, I can always do without the 100 degree weather. But that is okay because we had a very mild June and I got to spend a lot of time outdoors with my girls (and yes, get some reading done).
I hope everyone in the US had a safe and happy holiday weekend.
My company is finally here and I couldn't' be more excited to see them. Sadly, this will also mean less time for me to be around the blogsphere but I will do my best at night to play catch up.
Last Week on the Blog:
Release Day Blitz: Mosiac by Leigh T. Moore
Review: Return of the Rebel by Jennifer Faye
Release Day Review Spotlight and Giveaway: Dark Paradise by Angel Sandro
Tell Me Something Tuesday
My WoW Pick of the Week
Review: Sharing You by Molly McAdams
Blog Tour, Book Review and Giveaway: Suddenly Last Summer by Sarah Morgan
Cover Reveal: Storms of Lazarus by Karen Kincy
Review: Through To You by Lauren Barnholdt
Review: Magnolia by Kristi Cook
Review: On Every Street by Karina Halle
Cover Reveal: Hearten by Lila Felix
Whew! I had a busy week and it was slightly crazy. I am looking forward to a more mild week this week with posts.
This Week on the Blog:
Review: Of Metal and Wishes by Sarah Fine
Release Day Review: Midnight Thief by Livia Blackburne
My WoW Pick of the Week
Review: Strange Ever After by Susan Dennard
Review: Crushed by Eliza Crewe
Guest Post and Giveaway: The Star Catcher by Stephanie Keyes
I love getting new books, especially those I have been looking forward to reading and I just know I will love (of course now that I said that, I probably won't! LOL).
I tried to be better this week since last week I may have gone a little overboard and only picked up a few books but I am really loving the synopsis' so I can't wait to read them.
Once again, a big thank you to all the publishers for letting me read and review these.

And this one:
Umm okay. maybe I didn't do as well as I thought I did this week. Oh well, what is a girl to do?
These are new to me but The Cure For Dreaming and Lailah both look interesting. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I might sound like an idiot but wowwww! that was one busy week. And I'm looking forward to your Crushed review, seeing as how I still haven't made up my mind about the book. And I missed your review of On Every Street-stupid vacation! Must check it out because I have an unhealthy love for all its depravity.
ReplyDeleteThey were both good! I really liked Crushed but mostly I just freaking love Meda. ;)
DeleteI'm with you when it comes to this weather. I like sun and everything but 100 is something I can live without. I'm so happy that your family is there and I really hope you'll enjoy :) Great haul, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tanja!!
DeleteI hope you'll like all your new books, they look nice. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteOh you got The Cure for Dreaming! I'm friends with Cat Winters so I'm looking forward to reading it. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't like the hot temps either. I want it to be like in the 70's all summer, lol.
Me too Candace, that would be the perfect summer for me. Low 70's to mid and with a slight breeze. I would be in heaven!
DeleteHa you definitely had a pretty busy week! :D
ReplyDeleteI also totally feel the same way about Summer but Summer FINALLY got here so I am glad for that. We've had meh temperature for too long :P
YAY for company though! :) You have fun with them :)
Happy reading, Ali and have a fabulous week!! :)
Rashika @ The Social Potato
Thanks so much Rashika!!
DeleteFun books. I'm knee-deep in contest judging right now, with more books to read than any human could handle, so I don't get to read for fun until August!
ReplyDeleteYou need to try to sneak one or two in. ;)
DeleteYou definitely did better than I did. Hope you have a good time with your company!
ReplyDeleteThe weather has been kind of weird around here actually. It's been kind of hot the last couple days, but before then, it was kind of chilly and rainy, so my dang pool is cold!! lol I need it to heat up so I can swim and read...besides that, I hate the heat.
ReplyDeleteHaving a pool definitely helps.
DeleteWhisper the Dead and Laliah sound really promising! Hope you enjoy them - I'll definitely be on the lookout for your reviews for them. Thanks for sharing, and, as always, great haul! Happy reading! <3
ReplyDelete~ Zoe @ The Infinite To-Read Shelf
Go, go enjoy your company, we will be here waiting for life to return to normal :)
ReplyDeleteI love you Kim. :)
DeleteI'm really excited for Cure for Dreaming since I loooved Winters's debut and while Lailah looks SO GOOD I'm also worried because the synopsis seemed to hint at a love triangle and I'm not a fan of those... I'm looking forward to your thoughts on them, though--happy reading! :)
ReplyDeleteI really am too. I hope it is fabulous and I haven't set my expectations too high.
DeleteWhoo! I'm looking forward to your Midnight Thief review~ I recently reviewed that one (and yes, I saw your comment, hehehehe) and want to know what you think, although from the gist of it, it was positive wasn't it? In any case, you really did have a crazy week last week! Hope this time you can breathe a few~
ReplyDeleteFaye at The Social Potato
Thanks Faye! And yes, it was a positive review, no worries there. ;)
DeleteHoly busy week batman ;). You amaze me. I look forward to all of your posts ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Becca!
DeleteI'll be reviewing Midnight Thief soon too. I'm looking forward to seeing what you think about Strange Ever After. Have a fabulous week!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Weekly Update/STS.
Thanks for stopping by Tressa!
DeleteFabulous haul! I'm so jealous that you got Lailah--I think it looks amazing! And have fun with your guests! It's summer. I just got back from the beach myself ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope you can review it as well Jessica, it does look good. Here is to hoping it lives up to our expectations!
DeleteI have really loved some of them so I am glad you will get the chance to read them as well Heidi!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all your books!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
