Can you believe it is already time again for me to start this list for another new year? and oh boy has this new year already been full of wonderful reads!

Surprisingly, what appealed to me most about this book wasn't the wonderful circus life or dance but rather the sense of family. It is so strong in this that I couldn't help but love it.
And Nik, hello sexy Russian! I love how he supported her in all her dreams. He truly is one guy that anyone could fall in love with.

I am so late to reading/starting this series that it is almost embarrassing but either way, I am so glad I did finally read it because Noah and Echo are two broken, badly damaged characters that once again, come together to create soemthing beautiful. And that something beautiful is something you don't wan to miss so if you are like me, and have been putting this series off, don't. Read it, read it now!
And yet another series that has been in my TBR pile for way to long and I am kicking myself for not starting sooner. I loved all the mystery and twists in this and I can't wait to continue it!

I have loved this trilogy from the start and I truly couldn't have asked for a better ending. A Robin Hood retelling with lots of twists, fans of YA and historical fiction, don't want to miss this well written, action packed series.
Never thought I would say this about a 900 page book, but, holy moly, I loved this read! I almost gave up on it as the first 10% is rather boring and filled with details but I hung in there and it paid off big time. I adored this detail rich, mind blowing read.

Does McGarry ever disappoint? She certainly didn't for me in her latest and new series, Thunder Road with, Nowhere But Here. I adored Oz and Emily and really, the whole family. This was such an emotional and fun read. Another winner from McGarry.

This book reminded me all over again why I love Sarah's writing. And while this is fantastic,
it is a little older and adult feeling than her other reads but so so good at the same time. Truly, Ockler at her finest.
Every now and then you open a book up expecting nothing and getting a whole lot of something great. This was one of those reads for me. It completely surprised me with how much I loved it. It was heartbreaking and heart warming and just so many feels. This is one of those highly underrated books that I want everyone to read because it really is just that good.

I'm putting both of these books on here because they are a duology I had the pleasure of reading this year and even though I am a huge chicken and these are classified as YA thrillers/horror, I loved them! Yes they were creeptastic but so much fun too. Seriously, read these, you won't regret it. The Japanese lore and myths were just (pun intended) to die for.

This is a fabulous new UF series that blew me away. I read them pretty much one book after the other and while so far this might only be a trilogy, this last book left it wide open for more books and I am seriously keeping my fingers crossed that we get them because I loved it that much. Victorian England setting with a paranormal and steampunk kick, what's not to love?

I love Sarah's wiritng, she truly is talented and never ceases to amaze me and her ending book to her Of Metal and Wishes duology was fantastic. I absolutely couldn't get enough of it and it was so emotional. A fantastic YA series and retelling with a steampunk twist, you do not want to miss.

Raybourn is probably my favorite historical writer. All her books are fabulous and her latest series was every bit as much fun as I was expecting it to be. And come on now, look at that gorgeous cover! So hard to resist!

So this isn't a new book, in fact I think it might have been Colleen's first and was originally published as an indie book but it most certainly is my most favorite of her's. I'm so ashamed it took me this long to read it, especially since I was already a fan of her later work. This is YA/NA contemporary at it's best.

This was my first Kearsley book but it certainly won't be my last. I loved everything about it from the blend of modern to historic to the amazing and gorgeous setting. Just a whole lot of fun and everything I love about a good, well written historic. Plus, hello, a paranormal element in tow!

Love love how this trilogy ended and let's face it, that rarely seems to happen anymore in trilogies and series. Well written and stayed true to both the characters and the plot line.
I admit, I haven't read a lot in this genre this year but the ones I have, have been fabulous and Hello? is no exception. This book, the feels, the messages! So darn good!

Okay I adore this series! I read both book one and tow (tow pictures) this fall and feel in love with the world and the characters. So much fun and completely unexpected!

I don't read a lot of Roberts but her fantasy series are always so much fun and her new one, was just fabulous and I can't wait for book two!
This was a fabulous sequel and full of feels! So much happens, so much revealed and so much still left to do. Can't wait for the last book!

This is the latest book in the Ellie Jordan Ghost Trapper series but I devoured them all, they were so good. It is so hard to resist a good ghost story and the best part, these are creepy but still clean reads!
This book took me by surprise in the best way possible. Told in three different point of views by three different authors and truly, it was handled beautifully. Loved every minute of it!

Does Sarah Fine ever cease to amaze me with her writing abilities? Why no, she doesn't and her newest and latest is sure to please any fantasy lover. This is also a 2016 release so very well will make my favorites of 2016 post as well.
