RT Book Reviews proclaims that the O’Brien Family series from award-winning author Cecy Robson “has the hottest brothers ever!” And in Crave Me, it’s time for the sole sister in the family to discover love.
Wren O’Brien isn’t your typical female. As the only girl from a loud Irish family with seven siblings, she prefers fast cars to lip gloss and bad boys to good men. It’s the reason she’s nursing a wounded soul and keeping her distance from a dangerous ex.
Evan Jonah is running an empire and just moved from the lavish thoroughfares of London to the gritty streets of Philadelphia. When he walks into the nearest dealership, he’s expecting to find a reliable vehicle to handle the brutal winters, not a sexy female car rep with killer legs.
Wren doesn’t know why “Hotness in a Suit” asked her out. She doesn’t expect a great time or a night of passion that knocks her on her ass. But that’s exactly what Evan shows her.
She also never counted on how hard and fast she’d fall. But men like Evan—good men with even better hearts—don’t desire tough-talking Philly girls for long.
Evan has never met a woman like Wren. But he’s up for the challenge and ready to prove her wrong.
If there is one thing I can count on whenever I open a book written by Ms. Robson, it is that I'm going to get one hell of a story that will tug on my heart strings, make me smile more than cry, and always give me a good time with a heart stopping, heart pounding romance that will leave me melting into a big puddle of goo by the time the story is over.
And with her latest story, that is exactly what I got.
I have to confess something first, lately, this genre, once upon a time my most favorite genre of all time, just hasn't been doing it for me lately. In fact, I avoid them like the plague. I have no idea why other than I think I was burnt out on the same ole same ole getting repeated time and time again but when I saw Cecy had a new book in her O'Brien series I knew that no matter what, I needed to come out of my romance funk and try it because it would be great, because let's face it, all her stories are great.
I'm so glad I took a chance because not only have I been waiting for Wren's story, but it truly was worth the wait and the dive back into this genre. I seriously gobbled it up and even wanted more by the time it was done. It was heartfelt and heart warming and all those things that first made me fall in love with the genre to begin with.
Once again Cecy delivered with a punch to the solar flees at times and stomp to the heart at others but in the end, always delivering with the happily ever afters that we all love and crave. This was such a wonderful story and one I'm so glad I took the time to read and love.

Melanie @ Hot Listens & Rabid Reads
I really think you would love her Melanie!Delete
I know how you feel I've definitely been struggling with reading some of my favourite genres too, they really haven't been working for me. Bu this book sounds wonderful! Especially the romance! Thank you for putting it on my radar!ReplyDelete
Glad I could introduce her to you!Delete
I'm glad you found a book that worked for you in the genre, Ali. It sounds like an emotional and romantic book that I should pick up.ReplyDelete
Definitely do Nick, the whole series is fabulous but you don't have to read them all either to be in the know. ;)Delete
I love this crazy, loud family Ali. Evan was swoon worthy and Wren -you cannot help but love her :)ReplyDelete
Yes Kim! The family dynamic is the best, it always is in all of her books.Delete
Omigosh! I really need to read this one.ReplyDelete
It is really good. ;)Delete
I still haven't read any book by this author. I've been meaning to but I don't know where to start, honestly.ReplyDelete
If you like romance start with her first series or actually you can even start with this series. I honestly love love her UF series most though, it is just fabulous and very addicting.Delete
I haven’t read anything by this author, Ali. I think I put the first book in this series Once Kissed on my tbr-list, but never actually read it. It’s funny how our tastes change over years, I had no idea Romance was your favorite genre. I love books with load big families, thanks for putting it on my radar.ReplyDelete
I love the family dynamic as well in any genre really. Yeah, romance once was my favorite but not so much lately but I love knowing I have a few great authors to fall back on when I do want this genre.Delete
I love it when an author can pull me out of a genre slump like Cecy did for you! I know she's a favorite of yours - so win-win!! :)ReplyDelete
Melting into a puddle of goo, huh? That sounds pretty darn good:)ReplyDelete
Most definitely. :PDelete
glad to hear you loved this one Ali. Sorry Contemporary Romance isn't doing it for you right now. I know what it feels like being burned out. Think that's why I have been trying different things lately, because yeah it can become repetativeReplyDelete
Yeah, I think that's why I've been more into UF and PNR which are usually more unique than romance right now.Delete
Glad this one worked so eel even if you have been down on the genre. I have to look into this series!! Great review!ReplyDelete
I skipped this one just because I am kind of like you these days, avoiding NA and YA like the plague. I should try it, but I wasn't in the mood for angst.ReplyDelete
I hear you Heidi and I won't say this was drama free but you know, it's Cecy so she did wonderfully with it. ;)Delete
Ali! I love the review and your sweet kind words. I'm so excited you connected with Wren and Evan and that they took you out of your slump! Thank you so much for taking the time to read, review, and feature CRAVE ME.ReplyDelete

Anna from elements of emaginette
It's a bummer when you get several duds in a row with a particular genre so I'm happy to hear this one turned things around for you! Sometimes I have to switch genres for a while like a palette cleanser and then go back. Wonderful review! :)ReplyDelete
I find I have to do that more and more lately as well, good thing I read a lot of genres. ;)Delete
I can never get into Romance, but your reviews always make me second guess that choice, Great Review!ReplyDelete
