Review: Time Between Us by Tamara Ireland Stone

Title: Time Between Us

Author: Tamara Ireland Stone
Series: Book One in the Time Between Us Series
Published By: Hyperion (October 9, 2012)
Source: Purchased
Genre: Young Adult Contemporary Romance/Paranormal
My Rating: 4 Stars!

Book Description:
Anna and Bennett were never supposed to meet: she lives in 1995 Chicago and he lives in 2012 San Francisco. But Bennett has the unique ability to travel through time and space, which brings him into Anna’s life, and with him a new world of adventure and possibility.

As their relationship deepens, the two face the reality that time may knock Bennett back to where he belongs, even as a devastating crisis throws everything they believe into question. Against a ticking clock, Anna and Bennett are forced to ask themselves how far they can push the bounds of fate, what consequences they can bear in order to stay together, and whether their love can stand the test of time.

Fresh, exciting, and deeply romantic, Time Between Us is a stunning, spellbinding debut from an extraordinary new voice in YA fiction.

My Thoughts and Review:
How could I ever resist a love story between two strangers thrown together by a chance in circumstance, time and distance? Destined to never live in the same time and place together? Star crossed lovers with a paranormal twist?

I can't. I love books about time travel and throw in a romance destined to fail yet so sweet you can't help but want it to succeed and you pretty much have me at hello.

That story, that romance is what Bennett and Anna have. Something every girl dreams of from the moment we start playing house and thinking of the day we will get married. Those loves that are so strong and meant to be that even time and distance can't destroy or stop. A force to be reckoned with, something so powerful that it makes things happen. It makes time cease to exist and the world to melt away.

You know from the start that their love is going to be extraordinary but you also know that it is doomed and you want to believe and hope against hope that some how it will all work out.

I think I was on the edge of my seat the whole time waiting for the other shoe to fall. Waiting for that moment when something goes wrong and Bennett is swept away from Anna forever and hoping and praying that I was wrong and that it doesn't happen.

This was so beautifully said and executed. A sweet romance between two people that never would have meet if destiny didn't have a mind of its own. If fate hadn't brought them together and changed their lives forever.

SAME!!! That describes me perfectly, so clearly I need to read this book. I'm all nervous though, I want them to be together and happy and I know I'm going to be all anxious like you said, waiting for the moment when it's all inevitably going to fall apart. *sigh* Lovely review!
