WoW Pick of the Week!

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. It is a chance to share those new releases were are super anxious to get our hands on and read.

I'm both excited and nervous about this weeks pick because I can see this book either being fantastic or a big disaster. I'm hoping like crazy it will be brilliant and just as good as the first but, sometimes, you just never know.

Book Description:

From Colleen Houck, New York Times bestselling author of The Tiger’s Curse, comes Recreated, the second book in the epic Egyptian-inspired Reawakened series, in which a seventeen-year-old must literally go to hell to save the love of her life.

Lily Young thought traveling across the globe with a reawakened sun prince was a grand adventure. Now she’s about to embark on the journey of a lifetime.

When Amon and Lily part tragically, he transports himself to the Netherworld—what mortals call hell. Tormented by the loss of his one true love, he’d rather suffer in agony during Lily’s mortal years than fulfill his duty to protect humanity.

Heartbroken, Lily seeks refuge on her grandmother’s farm. Yet she can feel Amon’s pain, and she has been having dreams—dreams of Amon continually suffering.

For before he departed, Amon gave Lily something very special, an item that connects them even though they are worlds apart. Now Lily must use this object to free him, and to free their realms from darkness and utter chaos. She will do whatever it takes.

  1. I'm not a Huock fan, but I look forward to reading your thoughts on this when you finally get your hands on it! I hope it's a win and not a wail, as it were.

  7. How the hell have I NOT heard of this? Ever since I read Riordan's Egyptian mythology series, I've been on the lookout for more that were based on it. I never read her Tiger's Curse series, though, so maybe that's why her name didn't quite ring a bell. Thanks for the heads up!

I was soooo pressed to get the first book, that I broke my neck to purchase it for my birthday which was only a couple of weeks after it's release, (I believe) and guess what, I haven't read the shit yet lol. I am really excited to read it still, it's very pissed that it's sitting on my top shelf unread. Oops lol
