This is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. It is a chance to share those books we are most excited about and anxiously awaiting their release.
I love doing this meme because it is so much fun to see what others think about the books you post and most importantly, to see what others are waiting for. More than once I have found some great books to add to my TBR pile that I had no clue were even coming out because of checking out someone else's WoW.
This week my pick goes to:
Book Three of The Cousins O’Dwyer Trilogy
County Mayo is rich in the traditions of Ireland, legends that Branna O’Dwyer fully embraces in her life and in her work as the proprietor of The Dark Witch shop, which carries soaps, lotions, and candles for tourists, made with Branna’s special touch.
Branna’s strength and selflessness hold together a close circle of friends and family—along with their horses and hawks and her beloved hound. But there’s a single missing link in the chain of her life: love…
She had it once—for a moment—with Finbar Burke, but a shared future is forbidden by history and blood. Which is why Fin has spent his life traveling the world to fill the abyss left in him by Branna, focusing on work rather than passion.
Branna and Fin’s relationship offers them both comfort and torment. And though they succumb to the heat between them, there can be no promises for tomorrow. A storm of shadows threatens everything that their circle holds dear. It will be Fin’s power, loyalty, and heart that will make all the difference in an age-old battle between the bonds that hold their friends together and the evil that has haunted their families for centuries.
So I know it seems crazy that I am waiting on the third book in a trilogy I haven't even started but...I haven't started it because I have been waiting for the last book to release. crazy, I know, but I like to have all of Nora's trilogies before starting them because more often than not, start the next one right afterwards.
So what are you anxiously awaiting this week to release (hopefully) soon?
What a pretty cover. LOL - I completely understand why you waited for the 3rd book. I've been trying to do that more too.ReplyDelete
It is hard sometimes though!Delete
Haven't heard of this series. Hehe hope you like it, tho!ReplyDelete
Here's my Wednesday post.
Oh I love her books but I need to try more of them mainly the ones I have in my TBR pile.ReplyDelete

I have yet to read a Nora Roberts book, but I really need to change this soon!ReplyDelete
Start with her PNR ones first!Delete
Ooooo I'm liking the sound of this one Ali! You know I love a good tortured romance, and throw a few Irish legends into the mix and I'm a very happy camper. Can't wait to see what you think of whole trilogy:)ReplyDelete
I am really hope it doesn't disappoint!Delete

I like to wait for all the books in a trilogy to be out as well. It's so much better to read them back to back. :)ReplyDelete

I have the first book and I tend to not have enough time to read series all together so I really want/need to pick it up.ReplyDelete
I usually don't either because I need a break inbetween but I like to have them all on hand just in case I do decide to devour them all.Delete
I've never heard of this series but it sounds amazing!ReplyDelete
I just started my book blog (http://bookcatpin.blogspot.ca/) and am looking forward to meeting more book bloggers! Please come visit if you have time! Thanks!

Ali, I was lucky enough to pick up both books, one and two, recently at the used book store (they were so gorgeous, I couldn't resist) and hope to read them together, no waiting. We're in the same boat! Now I just need Blood Magick. LOL :)ReplyDelete
