Book Description:
Here we go again …

Just when it seems life at Mythos Academy can’t get any more dangerous, the Reapers of Chaos manage to prove me wrong. It was just a typical night at the Library of Antiquities — until a Reaper tried to poison me. The good news is I’m still alive and kicking. The bad news is the Reaper poisoned someone else instead.

As Nike’s Champion, everyone expects me to lead the charge against the Reapers, even though I’m still hurting over what happened with Spartan warrior Logan Quinn. I’ve got to get my hands on the antidote fast — otherwise, an innocent person will die. But the only known cure is hidden in some creepy ruins — and the Reapers are sure to be waiting for me there …

My Thoughts and Review:
This is by far one of my most favorite series, it just rocks. It seriously does and if you haven't tried it yet, shame on you, you are missing out on so much. Estep consistently blows me away with the depth to this series. Little things you don't think will amount to much do and everything eventually means something and matter in one way or another, plus, this book is full of amazing characters. All kick butt. Some you even love to hate.

I couldn’t' wait to dive into this after reading Spartan Frost. I needed more Logan time and I was hoping and praying like heck that he would grace us with his presence in this. Gwen needed him too, heck, I needed him to.

I won't give anything away but I will say that Estep did not disappoint. Gwen and Vic (oh how I love that feisty blood thirsty sword!) kicked butt as usual. Gwen is completely coming into her own and I love it. I love watching it happen and I love the person she is becoming. She is strong, feisty, capable, determined, loyal and just plain good. And not only does she have one blood thirsty sword to back her up but she has a ton of fabulous, equally great friends to help her kick butt and take names. We even get a few new friends along the way and some surprises too.

I think this whole series has just been so much fun to see unfold with all the revelations, the mythology, the plot line, the secrets, the deception, the lies, the trust, the loyalty, the strong bonds of friendship and of course love. It really is unlike any other series I have read. There is never a dull moment and things are constantly happening but are never overwhelming.

I continue to be impressed with Estep's writing skills and how she makes the characters feel so real that they jump off the pages and right into your heart.

I need more, I can't wait for more!
