WoW Pick of the Week!

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. It is a chance to share those new releases were are super anxious to get our hands on and read.

This week I am picking the end to a trilogy that I have a love hate relationship with. I loved the first book but the second was just, well, confusing, and it made me angry a bit too. I know, your asking yourself why I'm eager to read book three and the simple answer is, I just have to know how it all ends. So yeah, this week's pick goes to none other than Courtney Cole's book, Lux.

Book Description:
LET THERE BE LIGHT.

My name is Calla Price and I’m broken.

My pieces are all around me, floating on the wind, even as I desperately try to grasp them.

Who is dead? Alive? Insane?

What is the truth?

I don’t know.

I do know this: The darkness is strangling me. With every breath, I choke on another lie.

My mind has protected me, but that shield will soon be lowered.

All will be ...more

Ever have those books that frustrate you but you just have to know how it ends?

  9. Books that end in massive cliffhangers frustrate me so much - but almost always make me continue reading. *sigh* I curse whomever thought up this technique!

  13. I have the first book in this series on my kindle but haven't started it yet. And yes, I totally know what you mean about love/hate with a series hahaha -- that is a good way to describe it!

  23. I hope this book gives you the satisfaction in the ending that you didn't get in the second book. I totally understand needing to find that closure even if a series has frustrated you. :)

  25. The premise doesn't reveal anything about the novel which is awesome! I hadn't heard of this one before but the cover is gorgeous. <3 Benish | Feminist Reflections
