WoW Pick of the Week!

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. It is a chance to share those new releases were are super anxious to get our hands on and read.

This weeks pick is a no brainer because I have loved this series from book one and after all the events from the last book, I'm so very anxious to get my hands on this. I have been patiently waiting for the ARC of this to come out and...it has been hard! I really am anxious about reading this and maybe even becoming a bit obsessive over looking for the ARC. ;)

Book Description:

Everyone Celaena Sardothien loves has been taken from her. But she's at last returned to the empire—for vengeance, to rescue her once-glorious kingdom, and to confront the shadows of her past . . .

She will fight for her cousin, a warrior prepared to die just to see her again. She will fight for her friend, a young man trapped in an unspeakable prison. And she will fight for her people, enslaved to a brutal king and awaiting their lost queen's triumphant return.

Celaena’s epic journey has captured the hearts and imaginations of millions across the globe. This fourth volume will hold readers rapt as Celaena’s story builds to a passionate, agonizing crescendo that might just shatter her world.

So have you tried this series yet? Are you in love with it as much as I am?

  2. I lost interest in this series after I DNFed Heir of Fire, but maybe I will revisit it one of these days. I just want to make sure that Chaol and Celeana are end game.
I hope you will love this one when you get the chance to read it, Ali! :)

    1. I'm sorry to hear that Nick but I completely understand. It is hard with her love life up in arms like it always seems to be.

    1. I don't know, I haven't been able to find one yet so I'm thinking there might not be. Usually for her books they are out by now.

    1. The novellas are a must, they tell so much back story that you don't get in the first book. I'm so excited that you are going to start these! I hope like heck you love them!

  12. Yes, I started the series and I absolutely adored the writing, but I stopped before the second book I think. I need to get back into it. I thought the writing was vastly superior to A Court of Thorns and Roses.

    1. I haven't read Court but I've seen a ton of reviews that say the same thing, which is crazy since she started this series when she was 16!

    1. It really isn't for everyone that is for sure. They are all pretty long detailed books with lots of foreshadowing but they are fantastic and that's from someone who never use to like fantasy at all. ;)
